This isn’t the first time that Plugin Everything has given away a super-helpful tool for Adobe After Effects. Vector Displacer (soon to be released) comes on the heels of Displacer Pro, a more powerful GPU accelerated plugin that can replace the aging Ae one.

Clean Lines and Smooth Sailing?

The plugin creates much smoother edges by displacing the vertices of text or shape layers and then rasterizing that result. “because we draw after we displaced, the edges are very clean,” James says about the method. Stay tuned to Plugin Everything and watch for the drop.
