A new quick tip tutorial from Josh Antonio shows how you can quickly create quads using Maya’s triangulate and quadrangulate tools successively. It’s a simple thing that many people use to promptly fix nGons or other unwanted faces in Maya.
All you have to do is select the faces to adjust, triangulate them and then quadrangulate that result. With most of the work quickly done, you can focus on making the edge flow fit your needs. Adding hotkeys for both triangulate and quadrangulate makes everything that much faster too.
