A new tutorial from Carvalho VFX shows how you can make a procedural snowflake generator in Side FX Houdini that can produce detailed snowflakes at will.

The tutorial also shows how you can take your newly created snowflakes and apply them to a simple snowfall simulation and animation in just 30 minutes.
