Lucas Ridley shows off a possible workflow to get Unreal Metahumans into Maya and back to Unreal Engine.
Unreal Metahumans Creator made quite a splash when the announcement came down. Metahumans let anyone create a bespoke photorealistic digital human. A digital human that is rigged and complete with hair and clothing.
Check out this tutorial from Lucas Ridley of Digital Creator School that shows one possible workflow for bringing Metahumans into Autodesk Maya and round-tripping the effort back to Unreal Engine.
“I spent the weekend figuring out this workflow, so you don’t have to.” Lucas says.
Ridley also offered some insights into working with the live face link in Unreal Engine 4.
