Lottie is a popular and open-source animation file format for mobile and web. The latest version of the motion graphics powerhouse Cavalry can export to web-based formats, including Lottie.

Ian Waters shows how easy a web export is in Cavalry 1.1. Cavalry’s Lottie export is only available to users with a ‘Professional’ license.

Lottie is vector-based, which means that the files are very lightweight, scalable, and render natively mobile and the web.
