The new composition profiler in After Effects lets you view your comps, offering breakdowns of render times for all the layers in that comp and includes things like effects, styles, and masks.

Most DCCs will allow you to “profile” your work somehow, offering insights into frame rates, bottlenecks, and other things. It’s good to see After Effects getting some of these crucial tools finally.
