Marcus P shows how to make a blossoming flower animation with Bifrost in Maya.

I came across this blossoming flower example linked by Christoph Schädl that looked impressive. In that video, Marcus P created an animation of a flower blooming using Bifrost. Recently Marcus made a walkthrough of that project.

The tutorial starts with a point scatter for the initial shape and then moves to show how a time offset can create the animation of the flowers. Since Bifrost has no deformers yet, Marcus first makes a single petal animation as instances within the setup.
