This new tutorial from VinhSon Nguyen (Creative Dojo) shows how to create an expression that will have layers in After Effects automatically look at another.

The technique isn’t too far off from a previous tutorial that showed how to use some expressions in After Effects to create a system similar to C4D’s Effectors. The tutorial covers triggering an attribute change when elements reach proximity to each other.
