By September 28, 2012No Comments

LuisM. for the NextLimit team with a post that shows how to create a blending material for fluids in Maxwell Render. Luis sets up a scenario where you have a scene with several fluids that perhaps you want to create a mesh for to render as a realistic animation.

When we have simulate a scene with several fluids, maybe we want to create a mesh with them and applying different materials to create a blending fluid

Luis shows how to apply different materials to create a blending fluid, from creating the mesh in RealFlow or render with the RealFlow RenderKit, and if rendering it with Maxwell Render, creating a Blending Material for the fluid meshes that will provide some really nice results. LuisM notes that this tutorial looks at creating a Blending Material with Maxwell and 3ds Max, however, it will be the same process for Maya as well.
