Creating a Decoder Text Reveal Effect Using Cinema 4D Effectors

By February 15, 2013No Comments

EJ Hassenfratz always has some great insights and demonstrations and it has been a while since the last one, however, EJ posts a new tutorial recently showing how to create a decoding text reveal by way of Cinema 4D Effectors.

In this tutorial, I’ll show you how to create the “Decoder Fade In” text reveal just like the text preset from After Effects inside of Cinema 4D using mograph effectors

There are a couple ways to create this effect, and EJ notes that they are both fairly simple, however a bit tedious to set up in Cinema 4D building the word letter by letter.

EJ Provides a post for the tutorial Decoder Text Reveal Using Cinema 4D Effectors and the Cinema 4D scene file as well, both of which can be found here.
