Exporting and Using Mocha’s 3D Camera Tracking With Cinema 4D

By August 2, 2013No Comments

Providing a look at how to use Mocha Pro in conjunction with Cinema 4D, Imagineer Systems Product Manager Martin Brennand shows how to use the 3D Camera Solver in Mocha Pro and export the data to C4D.

Product Manager Martin Brennand takes you through exporting Camera Solve data from mocha Pro and setting it up inside Maxon Cinema 4D

Martin notes that when trying to get a 3D Camera solve from Mocha Pro you really need to set up your scene in one of two ways – with a moving camera, you typically want to track at least two separate planes that do not coincide. The other method would be in a pan-tilt-zoom shot, you only really need to track 1 layer as there would be no parallax to help the solve.
