Building an Automatic Graphic EQ Display in Cinema 4D

By August 8, 2013March 31st, 2015No Comments

Quickvfx takes a look at creating an animation of EQ audio levels that automatically animate and react to audio clips in Cinema 4D, stringing together some effectors to built the effect.

We use a random effector and a sound effector to build an automatically animating equalizer effect

Using simple cubes in a Mograph Cloner, Quickvfx demonstrates setting up the scene in Cinema, then uses the sound effector to load up the sound file. This will make the objects react to the audio, and adding the random effector before the sound effector, you are able to control the weighting for each clone.
