Coloring Layers in the Cinema 4D Timeline for Better Visual Identification

By September 14, 2013March 31st, 2015No Comments

Pariah Studios posts a tip from Eugene Opperman shows how you are able to color your timeline layers in Cinema 4D so that it is easier to identify what is going on, similar to the layer colors that you would get in something like After Effects.

Eugene talks about timelines and colouring them to make your workflows more logical and easy to deal with

Eugene cleverly uses a combination of the timeline and the layers panel in Cinema 4D, using nulls as a way to develop and organize the colors, and designating the layers color options in the preferences to show colors in the timeline tracks.
