Create Abstract Landscapes from a Single Plane in C4D

By June 17, 2015No Comments

The Berd, Miquel Rodriguez Estany posts a quick tip that shows how to get some crazy displacements using only a single plane in Cinema 4D.

While working at manvsmachine.co.uk/, Berd discovered a new way to create landscapes with a single plane and the displacer effector. Create the plane object, add the displacer effector as a child to the plane, and then play around with the layers on the shader parameter.

Berd has posted some examples of some abstract landscapes showing all that can be achieved with a single plane. Check out his Bulb project on Behance here.
