Cinema 4D Morphing 101, Turn an F1 Race Car into a Suitcase

By November 12, 2015No Comments

CyBear posts a101 class on morphing in Cinema 4D. Morphing can be a great way to create expressions for a character’s face, but it also can be used to help define a character’s pose during animation. Morphing is also something that is really handy in many other kinds of animation, not just for characters.

Here, CyBear walks through the basics for morphing in Cinema 4D, covering point level animation, the pose morph tag, and rotational morphs as well. Later, in a more advanced look at morphing techniques, and putting them into practice, he turns a complex model of a toy F1 race car, into a suitcase using the principles described earlier.
