Matias Mendiola Covers the 2D Workflow for Grease Pencil 2D Animation in Blender 2.8.

Mendiola shows how to get started with Grease Pencil 2D animation. As exciting as grease pencil is to artists and animators, it is still in Alpha in Blender 2.8, although you can download and use it today.

Mendiola covers everything that you need to know to work with GP, and that includes the basics from drawing, coloring animating and adding modifiers. The tutorial also covers how to create some FX. New effect modifiers give real-time effects right in the viewport for grease-pencil objects, such as Blur, Pixelate, Lighting, etc.
