IK Puppet is a Free Shape Layer Preset for After Effects That Gives a Pre-Rigged Animatable Puppet.

“I took a lot from the community here, so I try to give something back,” Says Animator Pierre Minoux. Giving back, in this case, comes in the form of a free after effects preset called IK Puppet. The preset lets you create a rigged shape layer character that offers some added controls for altering some of the attributes of the character.

The Preset is fairly straightforward to use, and Minoux runs through how to install and use the FFX preset, while also detailing some of what is possible through the preset’s attributes.
