VRay Tools for Maya DeeX Updates With a V-Ray Lights Lister

The Deex Vray Arsenal tools for Autodesk Maya has recently updated to version 1.5 and now has a unified environment for editing and controlling all the lights in your scene with the new V-Ray Lights Lister.

DeeX VRay Arsenal is built to manage the most common things you are continually doing when rendering with V-Ray, giving you a Render Pass Manager that can change object properties on the fly,  control the primary visibility, reflection, refraction, global illumination and more, all in a single click.

  • control all all lights by group

  • control attributes or custom attributes with a spreadsheet view

  • customize the user interface, columns placement, or dock the tool

In fact most of the tools in DeeX will let you do things on the fly, providing control your V-Ray render without really modifying your Maya scene. The DeeX on the fly randomizer will let you create randomize all attributes of the shading network you are working with giving you control over minimum and maximum values as you go, and the “on the fly” renderer give you automatic material ID’s that are only created during rendering, they are not attached to the scene file.
