maya flow path tutorial

By November 19, 2010January 28th, 2011No Comments

A Flow Path tutorial for Autodesk Maya 2011 by Stuart Christensen who notes that the technique for creating a flow path for an object is slightly different with Maya 2011 than older versions of Maya. Stuart shows off how to create a flow path object for animating text… which is always quite handy really.

“Creating a flow path for an object is slightly different with Maya 2011 from previous versions and you will have to adjust your default settings to get the correct results. In this tutorial by Stuart Christensen you will experience the flow path and it’s possibilities for great text effects of deforming geometry along a defined path. Get the settings correct from the start and you will not have as many headaches setting up this creative option. This tutorial is in response to a subscribers question I received awhile ago.”
