Hi Thank you for posting this on your site Lester. I just wanted to add a couple comments. My main intent for this tutorial was to demonstrate an alternate way to think about creating a surface with holes. Instead of starting with the surface and figuring out how to cut out the holes I start with the holes and fill in the surface. I did not attempt to optimize the poly count and just used standard primitives. Also, I left the cylinder caps as ngons as they would not be deformed and would render just fine.
