After Effects Transforms Exporter is a freely distributed tool from Aaron Dabelow, for copying animation from 3ds Max into After Effects simply via the clipboard… copy/paste. The Transform Exporter can copy and paste both static or animated positions via the clipboard or alternatively into an After Effects keyframe data text file for later use in After Effects.

Aaron notes that this is an updated version of an older position exporter that has been floating around for a while now. This new version of the After Effects Transforms Exporter runs significantly faster and has extra channels and a rebuilt user interface for better workflow.
