Coordinates Display 3 for Cinema 4D Shows Vertex Coordinates & Indexes in Edit

By August 6, 2012March 31st, 2015No Comments

Rui Batista shows off some of the features and use of one of his recently undated tools for Cinema 4D called Coordinates Display 3.

…When performing point level editing, adjusting vertexes, creating Xpresso setups, recording PLA animation or fine-tuning polygons or splines, it would be nice to have an on-screen display of the coordinates of the vertexes and/or their index number. This is what Coordinates Display Tag does…

Coordinates Display 3 will allow you to have a display of the individual vertex coordinates right in the Cinema 4D view port, and even show their index number, as well. This can be pretty functional for creating Xpresso code, adjusting vertices, or even just making point level edits in some cases. However, this can also be a creative or stylistic choice as well showing the numerical displays in actual renders.

Coordinates Display 3 is a paid plugin for the low price of only 10 Euros available through Rui Batista’s site. While you are there, you will also find a wealth of information on its use including the handy video provided below…
