NitroModel for Cinema 4D Creates 3D Shapes By Drawing Outlines

By August 24, 2012No Comments

Nitro4D’s Lazaros, aka nitroman, released his NitroModel plugin for Cinema 4D which allows you to simply draw outlines of a shape and the NitroModel plugin will automatically generate a 3D mesh from it.

With NitroModel, you can speed up your modeling, just draw the outlines of your shape and NitroModel will generate a 3D mesh

Using the DrawTool to create a rough outline that will form the basis of a 3D model, then using the SelectTool to generate a spline from the selection, and finally using the ConnectTag to connect the various parts of the model, NitroModel can be a super quick way to generate and block in 3D forms without too much effort.

NitroModel is donationware, and I do encourage you to read the donationware note on the site which is a great explanation of why it is donation instead of freeware.

NitroModel can be used with windows and Mac and Cinema 4D r13 and comes with video tutorials, some examples and the plugin itself. Check out the NitroModel Plugin for Cinema 4D here.
