Creating a Simple Character Skeleton and Leg IK Chain in Cinema 4D

By September 1, 2012No Comments

Freelance Animator and Animation Teacher Bill Harris with a basic and quick overview to creating a joint skeleton in Cinema 4D and binding a character to it, which forms the basis of a character rig.

A basic method of how to create a skeleton for a character and bind to the model, and how to set an IK goal for a leg

Bill also shows how to create a simple IK chain with a goal for the leg, providing a good foundation for basic rigging in Cinema 4D. Again, these videos were most likely made for Bill Harris’ students, and I do appreciate the simple act of allowing embeds so lots more people can benefit.
