Mamoworld released a new tool recently that will assist in re-oreinting or setting proper workable orientation for tracked scenes in After Effects called OrientWorld. OrientWorld makes short work of setting the scene to world a axis where you are able to create stand-in geometry or continue to work with the tracked scene easily.

In this tutorial I show how to use the mocha V3 camera solver to do a camera track for After Effects. We use the tool OrientWorld to choose a ground plane and orient the 3D scene according to it

Mamoworld notes that the new OrientWorld tool isn’t merely for After Effects tracked scenes, and as proof, he has created a short tutorial showing how to using the OrientWorld along side the mocha v3 camera solver.

With just a click or two, OrientWorld will allow you to automate the orientation of your scene easily so you are able to simply continue working. Mathias Möhl notes that Orient World is available on AEScripts as a Name-Your-Own-Price offering.
