Jamie Hamel-Smith provides another quick tip for cinema 4D showing how you can create quick and repeatable system for placing objects against an uneven surface in Cinema 4D.

we take a closer look at how we can place the trees with pinpoint precision, making sure they stay on the surface of the terrain

Providing an example for this technique of placing trees on a terrain in Cinema 4D, Jamie first looks to a couple of solutions at how the problem of placing trees might be solved using the Cinema 4D Cloner Object, and then shows his method which provides a more streamlined and simple approach which is to use a clamp constraint on the object, and changing its clamp from origin to object.
