Creating and Rendering a Cup of Coffee in Blender Using Cycles

By November 20, 2012No Comments

Blendertuts’ Oliver Villar Diz with a great look at modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering a realistic looking cup of coffee using Blender, and Blender Cycles.

This time, I decided to go ahead and dive into a complete project creation, from the modeling to the final render in Cycles. On this video you’ll learn some modeling tricks, and how to create simple, and not so simple node materials in the Cycles render engine

over an hour long, the tutorial really covers a wide range of topics, as well as provides some interesting tips for creating a simple model, and complex node networks for the materials that will be used. The final result is a great looking cup of coffee that may look like a huge undertaking, however Oliver keeps everything simple and straight forward. Check out Oliver’s post on Creating a cup of coffee in Blender here.
