Through the course of the tutorial, Jon also shows how to use the aiSkyDomeLight for reading in an HDR image and also covers some linear color workflow techniques, the Arnold aiStandard shader, and a bit about Arnold Ray Sampling.

Solid Angle develops the Arnold renderer, an unbiased, physically based path tracer, that is optimised for the demands of animation and visual effects. Arnold is being used at over a hundred visual effects studios including Sony Pictures Imageworks, Framestore, The Mill and Digic Pictures.
