Andrew Hazelden, a visual effects artist and co-founder of Dover Studios, Inc, has shared his DomeMaster Photoshop Actions Pack, which is a set of Photoshop Actions designed to speed up creating “fulldome” content in Photoshop.
The Photoshop actions provide tools for converting images from several common panoramic formats such as angular fisheye, equirectangular, and cube map panoramas, and general utilities for fulldome production
The Actions are broken down by the types of tasks that they perform such as Transforms, Conversions, Masking and Selections, and General utilities. So the actions housed in the transforms area deal with 2:1 to 1:1 aspect ration reduction as an example while the conversion section contains actions such as Angular Fisheye to Equirectangular and the like.
In all there are a full suite of tools here for converting most common panoramic formats along side some really handy utilities for production. Andrew has created a page for the DomeMaster Actions, and has provided a great look as to how to install and use the tools, incorporating some documentation along the way as to what each action does.
