Speeding Up Workflow When Working With Large Hierarchies in the Cinema 4D Object Manager

By February 14, 2013No Comments

When working in any application, a list of hierarchies can become cumbersome and slow to work with and sift through, and Cinema 4D’s Object Manager is not immune. Here, demafleez provides some workflow tips for working with large hierarchies in the cinema 4D Object Manager.

Moving objects in and out of dense hierarchies in the Cinema4D’s Object Manager can be cumbersome. Here’s a simple workaround to speed your workflow thru the quagmire

demafleez shows that you are able to use Option+G to group items under a null in the object manager, and in a case like this, we have all been in a position where we need to move something out of the hierarchy and move it to the top of the list. demafleez does this by opening another instance of the object manager making it easy to move things in huge lists.
