Demonstrating one of the uses for the Range Mapper Node in Cinema 4D’s Xpresso, Ahmed El-Hofy creates an automated door and expands the same concepts to create an automated clock animation.

In this tutorial, I show you guys how can you use the range mapper to create automated animations in CINEMA 4D, using the Range Mapper

In Xpresso, the Range Mapper Node will allow you to remap values which can be useful in many ways, and here Ahmed El-Hofy applies the Range Mapper to create animation with out the use of any keyframes.

There have been some great posts in the past, most notably from Julian Field who covers the basics for using the Cinema 4D Range Mapper Node, and applies Xpresso Range Mapper Node Techniques to create Animation Gears.
