Creating an Abstract Particle Animation in Cinema 4D With the Help of the Jiggle Deformer

Project4D’s Faisal walks through creating a swirling, glowing swarm of particles in Cinema 4D using the new X-Particles 2, which really shows some of the great new features and ease of use in X-Particles 2 for C4D.

Faisal uses an interesting technique that will use Cinema 4D’s jiggle deformer on geometry that will drive the animation and emit the particles, providing an easy way to attain abstract and flowing forms quickly.

Faisal notes that you will need X-Particles V2 and C4D R14 or at least R13 to follow along, and he also uses pSahde for Cinema 4D to assist in rendering.
