Isotropix unveils Clarisse iFX 1.5

A new version, a new offer and a new SIGGRAPH

Isotropix has been hard at work on Clarisse iFX, their flagship hybrid 3D workflow tool that bridges the gap between 3D and compositing, and the tasks in-between them allowing you to composite, animate, shade, light and filter, all in the same environment, doing all of this interactively and in real time on the CPU.

Recently announcing Clarisse iFX 1.5, Isotropix shares some of its massive performance upgrades, loading scenes faster with improvements to memory usage, browsing files, and speed increases while using transparencies.

Isotropix, a privately held software company developing high-end innovative graphics software solutions, announced today Clarisse iFX 1.5 the new version of its next gen 2D/3D graphics software

Actually, Clarisse iFX 1.5 isn’t only about performance and memory changes, Clarisse iFX 1.5 brings a whole host of improvements, particularly in the areas of rendering, workflow and pipeline integration by supporting the up and coming release of Alembic 1.5.

Clarisse also brings further refinements by adding a new fur and hair engine, which enjoys the same realtime interactivity as any other massively loading scene in Clarisse.

The new Hair and Fur in Clarisse reduces memory usage for hair and fur up to ten times, and rendering twice as fast as before, while also improving flicker on thin hair renders adding a new physical fur shader.

The rendering quality in Clarisse has also seen some gains with new physical shaders, 3D depth of field and enhanced 3D motion blur.

The amount of new features is so big in this version, we could have called it Clarisse iFX 2.0

Isotropix will be at the Siggraph show this year at booth #368 and they will be showing unreleased footage of Clarisse iFX 1.5 while doing live demos on its new features.

Clarisse iFX 1.5 update will be available sometime in August 2013. Clarisse iFX Anniversary Pack will be available from Isotropix’s on-line store at $1,499$/€1299 from July 22nd 2013 till July 31st 2013. The Anniversary Pack will be also available on Isotropix’s partners websites.
