In this tutorial I’ll be going over how you can recreate the Winter X-Games 2013 text fracture transition using Cinema 4D

EJ notes that they key to this effect is in the seamless change between one word to the other. EJ the adds the distortion effect by using a Displacer deformer and shows how to get a smooth and organic look to the effect.
