Creating Smoke Trails in Cinema 4D and TurbulenceFD

By October 15, 2013No Comments

Project4D’s Faisal walks through creating smoke and trails in Cinema 4D with the help of TurbulenceFD’s Voxel based fluids system, and the freely available Umami Parametric Spline Generator.

TurbulenceFD is way easier when it comes to smoke and fire

Faisal notes that the Umami plugin is not really required, simply used as a quick method to create splines, which will be used to animate the objects path that will be used for emitters for the fluid smoke simulation. TurbulenceFD from Jawset Visual Computing is simple fluid dynamics tool what integrates with Cinema 4D using both CPU and GPU for simulations.
