the FXChannelHouse posts a look at creating a simple animation incorporating Cinema 4D’s SoftBodies interacting with each other. Softbody dynamics in C4D are relatively simple to set up – but here, its taken a step further by creating a time remap by changing the timescale for the cached simulation playback.

We all know that softbodies are no new cience but just wanted to have this tutorial on my channel to share here with you all.FXChannelhouse

MagicSlowMotion

A while back, Nitro4D created a plugin that will allow you create ramped motion effects really easily for dynamics. The MagicSlowMotion plugin can not only control the motion easily but also has controls for editing the ease of the motion as well. MagicSlowMotion comes as a freebie, and can be found here: MagicSlowMotion plugin for cinema 4D.

The Pixel Lab’s Joren Kandel had a great look at using the MagicSlowMotion plugin also showing how the plugin works behind the scene to achieve slow motion time remapping effects in C4d. Create Smooth Time Remapping in cinema 4d using Nitro4d’s Magic Slow Motion Plugin.

    • yes. I really work hard to go through ever one of them and try to present the best of what is out there. I have seen this one from HelloLuxx 3 years ago. the tutorials are typically domain locked over there so it makes it harder to actually “share” the content with the community – The one you are reffereing to was locked at the time- this one was not. 🙂
