Creating Light Trails With Stardust in After Effects

Gui Esp Works With the Motion Node to Create Light Trails by Using Light Path.

Brazillian Motion Designer and Instructor Guilherme Machado explores some of the possibilities with Stardust’s Motion Node, showing how to use the Light Path feature to animate a light trails effect.

The Motion Node in Stardust can add extra movement to animations using a variety of motion types. One motion type, light path, lets you use the animation of a light in the scene to control particles.

Other experiments with the motion node show Machado getting extra details from particles using the circular type in the motion node.
