Cyclops Lets You Show Off Your Work from After Effects

Kyle Martinez’s Cyclops Lets You Show the Work Behind Your Ae Animations.

Sometimes how you got there is just as entertaining as the final result. In the 3D world, a great model often is followed by the phrase “Let’s see your wires.” Similarly, in the 2D animation world, people love to see the work behind the curtain to see how it all came together. If you work with After Effects, there is no native way to show the construction objects behind your work. There is no way to render the null layers, motion paths, and layer bounding boxes. Cyclops changes that.

The render-helper tool is an After Effects extension that makes it simple to capture all the construction elements that are behind your hard work. With it, you can capture null layers, motion paths, and layer bounding boxes. The extension is easy to use and helps make the process quick and painless.
