Marker Triggery is a Free Script for Ae

Simon Heimbuchner’s Marker Triggery lets you manage markers and more in After Effects.

A few years ago, a script for After Effects called “Trigger” let you trigger animations using timeline markers. Now a new script from Motion Designer Simon Heimbuchner does the similar things, only with a comprehensible her interface and a few other cool features. Oh ya, and one more thing, it’s free. Marker Triggery lets you create animations once and use them again and again.

With the Ae script, you can manage markers globally from a simple interface panel in After Effects. The panel will also allow you to copy and paste markers, create linked mills across compositions, and sync marker triggers layers too. I’m a massive fan of free and shareable scripts, especially within the motion graphics community around After Effects. Always refreshing to see a useful script launch and not be a vehicle to fleece Ae users.
