CG Shortcuts looks at creating an infinite loop animation in C4D using hands.

The cloner in Cinema 4D’s Mograph module is a great way to create abstract types of animation. An example of this is a new tutorial from CG Shortcuts’ Dave Bergin. The tutorial shows how to create a neat looking effect using infinite looping hands.

The concept is a rather simple one where you can clone the hands onto a twisting torus. The torus provides the underlying animation for the effect while the hands follow along for the ride. You can download the free project file too, and use it in your motion graphics work.
