Dynamic effects master Hristo Velev’s latest tutorial shows how you can create rain and splash effects, including running water down the surface of an object in Houdini.
The tutorial starts with an emitter, simulation, to create the final scene effect. “We look at creating rain that’s splashing and streaming down some geometry, using POPs and some handy emission and post-processing.”
