How to Bake Down Multiple UV Maps to One in Blender

Chipp Walters shows how you can bake multiple UV tiles down to one for more efficiency.

As an addition to his last tutorial on how to use multiple UV’s to create better decals and labels for renders in Blender, Chipp Walters shows how you can bake those down to just one.

Why Bake Them in the First Place.

For all the reasons you would want to work with multiple UV channels, there also is an argument for baking them into something more manageable. You want to bake down multiple UV maps into one because it’s more compatible with exports, more comfortable to work with in-game engines, and you can choose to convert the UV tiles to standard sizes using a multiple of 16.
