Animate a Lissajous Curves With X-Particles in C4D

By June 19, 2020No Comments

Brandon Craft shows how you can create classic Lissajous Curves in C4D.

Working with a bit of maths, Brandon Craft shows how you can create a classic waveform animation that uses Lissajous curves. The Lissajous figures are parametric equations that describe complex harmonic motion, and they are easily reproduced in Cinema 4D using the formula object and X-Particles drawing out the lines.

The tutorial walks through how to create curves with a bit of math in the formula object in C4D. Adding X-Particles adds a cool way to animate the maths that make the curves.
