Thomas Latvys shows how you can create a simple looping waves animation in Blender.
When you think of Motion Graphics, you think of C4D. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t any other mograph enabled workflows out there. Blender has animation nodes that let you work procedurally with animation by stringing nodes together, but it’s important to note that Blender’s modifier stack is also quite relevant.
Check out this new tutorial from Thomas Latvys (the Blender Tutor) that shows an easy way to create mograph-like looping waves in Blender, focusing on a couple of simple modifiers in the stack. The tutorial is inspired by one from Nikolaus Schatz, who made a similar scene in Cinema 4D.
