How to Fake Blurry Reflections in Floors With C4D

Ilir Beqiri shows a trick using Xpresso and a world position pass to create real-time blurry reflections.

We all know the trappings of blurry reflections. They look nice but are expensive to render. If you need a real-time solution, the same could be true. A new tutorial from Ilir Beqiri shows a technique that he came up with to get blurry reflections without all the tax.

The technique developed specifically for the reflections in floors uses Xpresso and a World Position Pass. You can have an almost real-time blurry reflection floor effect inside your compositing software, which is useful, especially if you don’t have a GPU renderer.
