It’s been a long while since we’ve had a Maya expression tutorial from Patrick Woo. His last two tutorials covered the basics for working with random noise functions, something that’s a useful foundation for animation, and more.

His latest tutorial covers those beautiful curves deriving from trigonometry in reaction to triangles, circles, Sine, and Cosine. These two functions open the door to a wide variety of use-cases to drive objects and their attributes in animation.
