A new tutorial from Alpha Pixel’s AJ Haines shows how you can make objects rain down in Cinema 4D. Learn how to make it rain dollar bills or make a fountain of cash, adding the items to an emitter.

You want the dollar bills to have a paper-physics feel to them, so AJ uses soft body dynamics in Cinema 4D to handle that effect.

The technique doesn’t only work for bills; it could also easily apply to certain types of confetti, streamers, photos, papers, you name it!
