CGElementary releases Maya X, a suite of modifications and new features for Maya.
You may remember a thing called the “unofficial updates” for Autodesk Maya. That was an effort by Morteza Ahmadi. The unofficial updates were set to improve Maya’s improvements to workflows that he felt needed some love. Indeed, there are ways that Maya can improve to make things a little easier for users.
Now, the unofficial updates project graduated to a new product release now called Maya X.
Check out the videos that show the new user interface changes, smart primitives, light and shader buttons, and the updated attribute editor buttons.
“I tried to improve so many things and make things more user-friendly and easier to access, it kinda looks like a whole new version of Maya.” Morteza says.
