Removing objects and people from shots could either be a simple task or a much more complicated one. In this new tutorial from the ActionVFX team, Danasa Arsad shows how you can “manually” remove people and objects from footage using After Effects.

The technique uses camera projections, 3D tracking, and how to rebuild geometry that is missing. Of course, a significant key in the workflow is getting a clean plate that you can use as the removal foundation.
