Derek Kirk shows how to create vast landscapes using Redshift in Cinema 4D.
Check out this new tutorial from Derek Kirk (Effectatron) that shows how you can use some built-in Redshift tools to create vast landscapes in Cinema 4D. Kirk works with the Matrix Scatter Object that lets Redshift render insane amounts of geometry at render-time, similar to Arnold’s Stand-ins or other renderer’s render proxies.
Kirk also talks about environmental lighting, fog, and displacement with Redshift Render Engine.
